A camera with restraint

Smooth movement should make an object easier to understand.

The source idea

The camera lesson samples and smooths recorded motion in the Graph Editor while preserving the desired range.

Our interpretation

Helios keeps its animation in the mechanism and leaves the camera under direct control. Damped orbit lets the viewer inspect several axes without adding a second competing camera performance.

Look closely

Pause the mechanism and use left and right arrow keys on the view to compare its overlapping rings.

What this study demonstrates

The browser orbit is not a captured or smoothed Blender camera path. The lesson informs the restraint of the interaction.
