What this covers
This policy explains what personal data Webnet Asia collects when you visit webnetasia.com, why we collect it, how long we keep it, and the rights you have over it. It applies only to this site — not to the client sites listed in the Work section, which are separate businesses with their own policies.
We are the Data Fiduciaryfor this site under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (the DPDP Act), which means we decide why and how your data is processed and we are accountable for it. You are the Data Principal.

What we collect, and why

We do not ask for and do not want financial details, government ID numbers, passwords or any other sensitive information. Please don't send them — in the chat or anywhere else on this site.
The basis we rely on
Everything above is processed on your consent, given by a clear affirmative action: submitting the contact form, or accepting the notice shown before the chat opens. You are never required to consent to anything unrelated in order to get a reply from us.
Who else processes it
- Web3Forms — delivers contact-form submissions and chat transcripts to our inbox as a Data Processor on our instructions.
- Google (Gemini API) — provides the model that generates the site assistant's replies. Your messages are sent to Google to produce an answer. We use Google's free tier, and on that tier Google may use the content of these conversations to improve its products and train its models. This is why the chat asks you to agree before it opens, and why we ask you not to type anything confidential into it. If you would rather not have your message processed this way, email or WhatsApp us instead — those go only to us.
- Vercel — hosts the site and provides the aggregate analytics above.
- Google (Gmail) — where our email is delivered and read.
Some of these process data on servers outside India. We do not transfer your data to any country that the Central Government has restricted under section 16 of the DPDP Act.
What we don't do
- No advertising, retargeting or tracking pixels.
- No selling, renting or sharing your data with data brokers.
- No marketing lists — we contact you about your enquiry, nothing else.
- No automated decision-making that has any legal effect on you.
Children
This site is meant for businesses, and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. We do not track children or direct advertising at them. If you believe a child has sent us personal data, email info@webnetasia.com and we will delete it.
Keeping it safe
The site is served over HTTPS, the assistant runs behind a server-side key that is never exposed to your browser, and access to our inbox is protected by two-factor authentication. If a breach affecting your data ever occurs, we will notify you and the Data Protection Board of India as the DPDP Act requires.
Your rights
Under the DPDP Act you can, at any time, email info@webnetasia.com and ask us to:
- Access — tell you what personal data of yours we hold and who we have shared it with.
- Correct or complete — fix anything inaccurate or incomplete.
- Erase — delete it, unless we are required by law to keep it.
- Withdraw consent — as easily as you gave it. We stop processing and delete, and withdrawal does not affect anything lawfully done beforehand.
- Nominate — name someone to exercise these rights for you if you die or become incapacitated.
- Complain — raise a grievance with us, as below.
We respond to requests within 30 days, and usually much sooner.
Grievance redressal
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data or your request, write to our grievance contact, Ishaan Walia, at info@webnetasia.comwith “DPDP grievance” in the subject line. We will acknowledge within 7 days and resolve within 30.
If you are still not satisfied, you may escalate to the Data Protection Board of India under section 13 of the DPDP Act.
Changes
If this policy changes materially, the “Last updated” date above will change with it.
