Solane Museum
A walkable digital art museum with fourteen paintings, a domed rotunda and a long gallery. Four times of day change the light, while a Keystatic CMS provides the foundation for managing the collection.
Solane turns an artwork gallery into a place visitors can walk through. A neoclassical rotunda opens into a barrel-vaulted gallery, with marble columns, framed paintings, picture lights and shafts of sunlight carrying the atmosphere. Built with Next.js, React, TypeScript and Three.js through React Three Fiber, the museum supports first-person movement, touch controls, artwork placards and shareable views. Dawn, noon, golden hour and night give the same collection four different moods. Fourteen public-domain paintings from The Metropolitan Museum of Art form the initial exhibition, supported by CC0 textures from Poly Haven. Collection management is part of the build: Keystatic defines artwork titles, artists, dates, media, dimensions, images, alt text, credits and wall order. Local editing is implemented. Live editorial access is awaiting GitHub app configuration; once connected, collection changes will commit to the repository and trigger a Vercel rebuild.
