Energy needs a container

An electrical drawing should change internally, rather than move as one rigid object.

The source idea

The plasma-orb passages use noise-driven volume emission and coordinate distortion to make internal energy visible.

Our interpretation

Arc now deforms each of its 36 primary strands and 12 forks through four independent sine/cosine morph targets. Fast frequencies create changing bends; a radial mask protects the electrode endpoints. Displacement is shared across each tube section so the strand retains its thickness.

Look closely

Pause at two nearby timeline positions and compare the bends of one strand. Resume to watch the internal jitter while the cage remains still.

What this study demonstrates

This is authored electrical-looking mesh deformation. It is not the source’s volumetric shader or a physical plasma simulation.
