Vault
A stone passage leads to a recessed bronze door. Warm lanterns establish a rhythm through the cool barrel arches and weathered wall plinths.
The source idea
Cool repeated Gothic bays recede toward a warm doorway. The change in light gives the corridor a destination.
Our interpretation
The original passage uses five round arches with individually joined radial blocks, supporting piers and capitals. Three bronze lamps hang on tethers and sway at offset phases. A paneled bronze-and-timber door closes the composition.
Look through the repeated bays toward the door. Change the lighting and compare the stone recesses with the warm opal lamps.
What this study demonstrates
This is an original environment informed by the identified source observations. It uses editable Blender construction, scanned CC0 maps or locally baked procedural materials, and an authored eight-second loop. The interactive export uses real-time PBR lighting and shadows; it does not reproduce a Cycles volumetric render or use the creator’s paid asset packs.
