The curl-volume lesson fills a volume with strands, distinguishes curl fields from turbulence and controls reveal and curve thickness.
Our interpretation
Elastic Filaments is an existing browser study with a deliberately sparse strand field. Plucking one line makes tension and recovery visible, providing a simpler interactive counterpart to a dense volumetric curl composition.
Pluck one filament and follow its recovery before touching another. Notice how spacing preserves the motion’s readability.
What this study demonstrates
The browser strands are not cached Blender hair, curl-noise particles or the lesson’s dynamic-paint reveal.
