Nehru Place Online
A ground-up directory for Delhi's Nehru Place IT market — 3,000+ dealers modelled tower by tower and floor by floor, instead of as a flat shop list.
Nehru Place had a live site with the right theme and none of the structure a market this size needs. We kept the visual identity — the brass-and-ink palette, the mono-type data language — and rebuilt everything underneath: a real database schema for towers, floors and a 206-node category taxonomy, seller signup with a verification ladder, reviews with seller replies, and a moderation queue. The build runs on two deliberately separate design registers — an award-tier showcase surface for buyers and search, and a fast, zero-motion product surface for sellers managing listings — so neither slows the other down.
- 01Tower-by-tower, floor-by-floor directory structure modelled in a real database, not a flat list
- 02Two-register design system — award-tier showcase pages, zero-motion seller tools, one shared palette
- 03Seller signup, a verification ladder and trust badges, and reviews with seller replies
- 04Admin CMS for towers, floors and listings, with an audit log on every change
The market is now modelled the way it actually works — building by building, floor by floor — with seller signup, verification and moderation tooling live and ready for Nehru Place's dealers to claim their listings.
