Fix the search foundation before planning a content campaign
A campaign cannot compensate for pages that are unclear, disconnected, or hard to maintain.
Make the important pages understandable
Each important page should explain its own topic in a specific title, main heading, and body. Service pages deserve their own scope rather than repeating one broad promise. Descriptive internal links help people continue to the next relevant step and help crawlers discover that page.
Google’s Search Essentials puts useful, people-first content and crawlable links among its core practices. That is a sound starting point for an outreach plan: publish something worth sending to a relevant person, then make it easy to navigate.
Measure the enquiry, not just the visit
Search traffic is useful only when it reaches the right people. Set up Search Console to understand which queries and pages are being discovered. Define what a meaningful enquiry is, then track the form, call, or message action that represents it. Review the pages that bring interested visitors and improve their answers.
Structured data can clarify the entities on a page, but it should describe visible, accurate content. It is one supporting signal, not a substitute for a useful service page or an honest case study.
Create a reason to reach out
An outreach email is stronger when it points to an original observation: a real case, a tool, a local guide, or a useful explanation. The two field notes above are grounded in decisions from actual builds. That gives a recipient something concrete to assess and share.
